Following the end of the Digital R&D Fund for the Arts in 2015, Arts Council England, Nesta and the Arts and Humanities Research Council have commissioned and now published a number of evaluation reports into the three year programme.
The purpose of the Fund was to enable use of digital technologies in the arts sector to engage audiences with art in new ways and/or to create opportunities for new business models for arts organisations. Two research organisations, Tom Fleming Creative Consultancy and MTM London, have conducted a range of qualitative and quantitative research to examine the overall impact of Digital R&D Fund on participating organisations and the wider arts and cultural sector.
In addition to the report, you can download and read the Fund Evaluation by Tom Fleming Creative Consultancy in full, or the Executive Summary of the report.
